Hicks Logistics is one of Wales’ largest logistics companies, operating a varied and specialist fleet of 75 vehicles and over 135 trailers nationwide on a daily basis.
Hicks Logistics is a family run business and is owned by ET Holdings Ltd. The Hick’s family sold the business to ET Holdings Ltd in 2019 who also own well known Evans Transport Ltd of Devon and John Seymour Transport of Kent and Yorkshire. The company has 50+ years’ experience in logistics and has 3 generations of the family still involved running the group.
Before the merger Hicks Logistics was a well know and well established company with many years’ experience, The company was born by Terry Hicks in 1978 on the family tradition in road haulage which Mr Bill Hicks, Terry’s father, started in the early 1950’s. Hicks Logistics started as a small haulage firm working with one vehicle and this rapidly developed into a large and varied fleet. Hicks operate with a wide range of vehicles starting from 7.5 tonne rigid vehicles up to 44 tonne artic vehicles. We can deliver anything from a single pallet right up to full loads and offer competitive rates on next day delivery services. We also operate a fleet of low loader trailers and specialise in the delivery of plant machinery and powered access equipment.
With Over 30,000sq ft of warehousing space, we can offer both bulk and racked solutions suited for an array of products and pallet spaces based in Caldicot.
With our fully equipped in hose workshops we are able to ensure are vehicles are kept to a high standard of roadworthiness which helps prevent breakdowns and downtime
