Moffet
Within our fleet we also run both artic and rigid Moffet vehicles these are able to travel all over the UK. Within the group we have both curtain side and flat moffets but only curtain rigids with Moffet capability. These vehicles can take a payload of around 25 tonne. Our Moffets are based at nearly all our depots which enables a speedy and efficient service.
The moffet is a forklift which rides on the back of the vehicle which means the customer doesn’t have to provide loading and offloading facilities. Our moffets are capable of carrying between 2 – 3 tonne.
The moffet enables a flexible solution to place product a bit further away from the vehicle which a Hiab vehicle are not always able to do. They are also very good at being able to go over rough terrain with great a flexibility you loose with a tail lift facility. These machines are perfect for deliveries into the construction and agricultural and roadside deliveries etc. we can also help save costs by using one moffet to unload multiple loads to the same destination when goods are sent on the same day.
